Stevie Wright American Idol Singer

Well I have to admit I was a little disappointed that we didn’t get to see Stevie Wright perform in Round 1. I was really looking forward to seeing her again. I waited the whole show expecting to see her, and nothing! That is one of the problems with this stage of American Idol. Too many people, and you have to keep the drama flowing.

We did get to see Stevie Wright flying out a door celebrating with Arriana Afsar (another American Idol contestant).

We obviously knew she would get through. I wish Hollywood Week wasn’t about showcasing the ‘nuts’ like that ‘bikini girl’. Get her off the show and start showing the talents, like our Stevie.

Well get to see lots of her once the real show gets going. Can’t wait until Season 8 really gets going!

Stevie Wright showed up at the American Idol Phoenix, AZ auditions, and she was fantastic! She say a song by Etta James - At last, and you could just hear how powerful her voice is. She got 4 yes from the judges and you could see how impressed they were. After Stevie left the room with her ticket to Hollywood the new judge Kara Dioguardi said, ‘That’s my girl right there so far’. Paula said that, ‘She’s got Kelly Clarkson strength’. Nice comments!!

Even Simon Cowell was impressed, but of course he had to make some comment ‘that he wants her to grow teeth’. I actually think he really liked what he saw and it is his way of giving advice to Stevie. She is obviously a really friendly person, and she needs to be tough in this competition to do well.

She has all the talent in the world. I am really astonished at how powerful her voice is, and she is really cute too! She is a record producers dream.

Can’t wait to see more. See you in Hollywood Stevie!

We loved Stevie Wright the first time we saw her audition on American Idol. It’s cool that she was named after Stevie Nicks… guess music must be in her blood. She’s got an amazing voice. I never heard of Etta James before, but apparently she was a big singer a long time ago. Stevie deserves to win… She started the show when she was 16, she’s 17 now (she says so in her first interview on the American Idol Homepage). What a voice!
